A little while ago I found Yeji Yun’s Modern Love illustration on Poolga (a fantastic site for free iPhone wallpapers) and have since fallen for the rest of her work.

Please check out the trailer for my short documentary series, This Little Light, which will begin in winter 2012. This has been a passion project of mine throughout 2011 and very excited to share it with you all.
The series follows a few members of Lavender Light, a gay and lesbian gospel choir in Manhattan. By illuminating their personal experiences and opinions, the series explores their struggles and successes with finding peace with their faith and sexuality.
Early next year I will be launching a website for the series, which will house videos of each episode and a growing list of relevant resources and outreach opportunities.
You can stay updated on my progress with this project by signing up for the newsletter. Please share the trailer if you feel someone may be interested in the project. Thanks!
Apparently there isn’t an upper limit on cuteness.
Fantastic work by animator Kirsten Lepore (who also made the amazing short “Bottle”).
David Ruffin. This lanky brother knows heartbreak like no other.
